3 words: Family Fun Night.
Sounds good, right? Pleasant, fun, enjoyable... well, yes. It is. There's eating and board games and talking and laughing and all that fun stuff (and maybe some ping pong).
So yesterday at 7:00, the time FFN starts, I sat down at a table. I didn't realize when I sat down that this table was the Rummikub table. Now, I like Rummikub as much as the next girl, so I didn't mind when four ladies 65+ years of age sat down and asked me to play with them.
But 13 games later, I was bored out of my mind, and I probably had this glassy look on my eyes with my mouth hanging open. (But the other ladies didn't seem to notice, so all is well) I think that I actually stopped paying attention to what was going on after we had played our 9th. I just wanted it to be over. I was practically kissing the floor once we finished our games.
Kissing the floor never felt so good.
But everyone else had a good time! :]

Since I created this nifty new blog (I'm bringin' nifty back) and I said that I'd be doing fashion posts, I decided to have sister do a photo shoot with me so that I'd have pictures to show you of what I look like when I try to be pretty. (pretend that wasn't a long run-on sentence, thanks)
Let's just say it was kind of awkward, I'd never posed for a camera in public before. Definitely a new experience. Hopefully it's something you get used to...?
What was even MORE awkward than standing around trying to look cool, was when sister says, "Oh yeah, lookin' sexy!" How old are you, again?
But I think that overall it went pretty well, considering it was our first "shoot."
